Well, it's been a while since we gave you any news.
The Split 7" picture disc with The Show is the Rainbow should be out any day now... you can order it from Pink Teeth Records any day now, and hopefully we'll get our share in the mail sometime this week. They're gonna be sweet.
Next news is for you Santa Barbara folk...
And finally, the news you may have already heard from other sources... I'm parting ways with Kissing Tigers. It's been an amazing 5 years, and I love all the guys in the band and the music that I've been making with them. I've got other things I want to pursue at this point in my life. Everything's on good terms and the band will continue on as a bitchin' 4 piece. I will be playing this Thursday, and perhaps a few shows beyond that, but after that Kissing Tigers will become a different beast. I will continue to be a part of the team behind the scenes for a while, so feel free to keep contacting me if you've got KT questions. It's a sad day for us all, but this will also mark an exciting new beginning for the band and myself, so keep on keepin' on. Thanks for all your support thus far.
Wednesday, March 1 2006 @ 12:04PM:

Tuesday, December 20 2005 @ 7:32PM:

Anyway, here's the tour dates for you lovely people. All of the shows listed below are ALL AGES. Make sure to check out The Advantage, City on Film (ex- Braid / Hey Mercedes), Goblin Cock (Rob Crow from Pinback), The Valley Arena and Sleeping People... they are all incredible in their own ways!

Wednesday, November 9 2005 @ 10:56PM:
Sarah, I'm sorry for the lack in updates. Sorry to the rest of you too. We've got a few more shows coming up in 2006 and then we will be hitting the road again come January. The split 7" with The Show is the Rainbow is still happening. That slacker finally finished his song, so it shouldn't be too much longer now. We'll let you know ALL the details on that soon. We're going to redo things around kissingtigers.com shortly, and we'll soon have some current photos for you up there as well. Not too much else to report. More new songs on the way, meaning a new recording on the way too. Early next year if things go smoothly. Mid-next year if things take a while, which they often do. We hope you've all been listening to "We Are Scorpios" over at our myspace page. Go do so if you haven't. Till next time...
Saturday, September 3 2005 @ 4:21PM:
Turn off your tv, turn off the lights, turn off the music and go over to myspace.com/kissingtigers this second. There you'll find a brand new Kissing Tigers track that you will not find anywhere else in the world. Ladies and gentlemen, We Are Scorpios.

Friday, August 5 2005 @ 2:40PM:
Two things:
1. Tour starts tonight... well we are leaving for tour tonight anyway. We're going to drive straight on up to Seattle for the show there on Sunday evening. We will play first at 7PM sharp, so be there on time (doors at 6PM)... it'll probably sell out anyway, so I imagine you will be there on time, or you won't be there at all. Here are the dates:
August 7th - Seattle, WA @ El Corazon w/ Koufax, Limbeck August 8th - Portland, OR @ Berbati w/ Koufax, Limbeck, Rescue August 9th - Chico, CA @ Fulcrum Records w/ Rescue, The Americas August 10th - San Francisco, CA @ Bottom of the Hill w/ Koufax, Limbeck August 12th - Reno, NV @ Satellite w/ Rescue, Brilliant Red Lights August 13th - Grass Valley, CA @ NCCA w/ The Advantage, Rescue August 14th - Los Angeles, CA @ The Scene w/ Rescue, Languis, Hit Machine August 31st - Los Angeles, CA @ The Troubadour w/ The Blood Arm, Innaway September 3rd - San Diego, CA @ The Epicentre w/ The Dane[ger]
Big gaps in the tour? That's because Dave is doing this during those gaps... When all this is done, all the boys are getting on a plane and flying to New York for this:
September 14th - New York, NY @ Knitting Factory Tap Room (CMJ) w/ The Velvet Teen, The New Trust, Rescue, Ox
You can find more info on all these shows on our tour page.
2. ALL OF OUR MERCH WAS STOLEN... some jerk took all our merch from Dan's car in Orange County last night. If you see some idiot trying to sell a bunch of Trebuchet EPs on the streets of OC or at your local record store, go kick him in the face for us... or if you prefer, call the police and email me dave at kissingtigers.com. We did have an extra box of LPs lying around, so we've got a few of those, and we'll pick up some more CDs at the Slowdance headquarters before the shows start... AND we did order some more shirts that we'll have at the shows starting Monday night, but still, selling that merchandise we'd already paid for is how we were going to fill our bellies on this tour. Feel free to help us out at the shows by bringing cookies and fruit. Or beef jerky for Eugene. Hope to see you out there!
Wednesday, July 27 2005 @ 12:57AM:
More shows have been added! ALL AGES shows in Los Angeles and San Diego have been added. Check it out on the tour page. More shows soon as well... AND, lots more exciting news soon for all of you, not just those lucky California kids.
Myspace anyone? It slowly seems to be turning into our new mailing list, so you should probably add us if you haven't. We'll keep ya uptodate.
Thursday, June 30 2005 @ 2:22PM:
The end of the bad news... So, we are unfortunately cancelling from the San Diego show @ Che Cafe tomorrow. We're very sorry about this. First no SLO and now no SD... I know I know.
We're working on reschdeuling the SD show too. Also, we've recorded two of the best songs ever written this weekend. We should have them all finished up in a week or so and then we'll let you know what we're going to do with them. Get excited. AND, another fucking video!! are we serious? are we for reals? Yes. The video for Cruel and Jealous Death should be ready in the next couple weeks. Make sure you go to our video page and check out the Rooms by the Hour and So Stay in Love videos if you haven't already done so. They shred.
Thursday, June 23 2005 @ 2:12PM:

Friday, June 17 2005 @ 10:39AM:

We're still adding a couple more dates, so keep checking our tour page and and our Myspace for the updated show listings. We'll be playing these shows with some amazing bands like Limbeck, Koufax, Rescue, The Cinema Eye, Shoot Out the Lights, The Valley Arena and more! So make sure to come out early to all these, so you don't miss any of the show.

Thursday, May 26 2005 @ 2:23AM:
Rooms by the Hour!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Rooms by the Hour video, directed by Kenny Krauss, is done and online here, and ready for you to download... here's a couple screenshots in case you don't believe us:
Not enough thanks can be given to Kenny G. Krauss (saurkrauss@aol.com) and Curtis Doss for doing this video for us. It's being sent out to television stations this week or next, so expect to see it out there before too long.
In other news.....
We'll be adding a fair amount of west coast shows to our schedule for the duration of the summer, and hopefully some shows further east and over in Europe come fall. Check out the shows page and our Myspace for the uptodate info on all that.
The Cruel and Jealous Death video should be done sometime this summer too, and we're all very excited about that. Quite different from both the vids we've done so far.
We're recording some new songs in June. Not another full album, but perhaps an EP.
Saturday, April 30 2005 @ 10:22PM:
The So Stay in Love video has become a finalist for the Now Casting awards, you can check it out here. The video also premiered on iFilm today, so go over there and watch it if you haven't (Windows Media, Quicktime or Real Player) and tell them how much you love it. The Rooms by the Hour video should be done any day now and that'll be rocking your world on the television screen and internet as well. We'll let you know first when that's completed. In other news, we're playing some goodbye shows in Santa Barbara in the month of May. Three in one week, so we hope you'll be able to make it to at least one of them. Mark and Dan will both be finishing their stay in Santa Barbara over the next few months, and that will mark the end of us being based out of there. Our new home will be somewhere else... and it's looking like Los Angeles for now. We're filming our 3rd video, for Cruel and Jealous Death next weekend, and then some recording of new songs in June. We'll be touring this summer, and we're still planning on the European tour before the end of the year, so we'll let you know about all of that when we know. Take care.
Tuesday, April 12 2005 @ 1:22PM:
The So Stay in Love video is at it again... this time, it's made it as a semi-finalist in the "Now Casting Film Festival." It's the only Music Video entry to make it this far out of 25 films, so please go on over to their website and cast your vote for So Stay in Love and its wonderful director, Jeycob Carlson.
Friday, April 1 2005 @ 12:31AM:
We're back from tour... photo by Cassie Burniston
Tour was awesome. Thanks to all the cities we played in for being so kind to us. Thanks to all the people in all the cities that came to our shows and bought our shit and danced and all that. It was one of our best tours yet. Huge thanks to -
Also, thanks to we clothing for hooking it up. we would have frozen to death without you.
So... WHAT NOW???
Well, the video for So Stay in Love is on Fuse still, so tune in for that. Also, it's playing on the show "Split" on Fuel which airs three times a day I believe. More will be happening soon with this epic video.
The Rooms by The Hour video should be done within the next month, and it looks incredible as well. You guys are in for yet another treat.
More videos? Yes, we are currently planning another slew of videos for songs off Pleasure of Resistance, with the help of a lot of very talented people. We will tell you more details on these when we have them... but I think this means there's going to have to be a DVD before too long... or I hope that's what it means.
We've been playing a new song on tour, and we'll be polishing off this a few others these next few months, which will take us back to the studio this summer... for the first time since last spring. Also, we're working on compiling some remixes for certain releases. One such release will be a split 7" with our good friend The Show is the Rainbow.
We'll be doing a lot more touring this summer and into the fall... and well, indefinitely. We'll travel seas and cross national borders for you. For now we're still setting up a few select California shows for the next few months. Keep your eyes on the shows page and our Myspace for info on those.
Ok, join the mailing list, buy our stuff, check out our friends and pay attention in class.
Sunday, March 13 2005 @ 8:31PM:
Thanks for voting for us on Fuse. Apparently they kept our video, and it's playing on other shows now and then. Nobody tells me when they're going to play us, or I'd tell you, but I think it was played last night on "The Dive."
The "So Stay in Love" video is also playing on Refused TV if you live in the LA area.
Our video for "Rooms By the Hour" should be done in the next couple months. We'll get it up online and we imagine that will end up on some sort of music television as well.
Tour!!! Yes, we're firing up the van and leaving the state of California for the first time in 2005. We'll be doing 11 shows in 11 days up and down the west coast. We'll be playing a new song or two as well. Here's the dates on the shows... go to the shows page for all the info.

Thursday, February 17 2005 @ 11:10AM:
Our video for So Stay in Love just got added on FUSE's Oven Fresh show... last night I saw the video rise from #7 to #6.
We are asking all of you to kindly go to FUSE.TV, click on the TV Shows page, find Oven Fresh and check us out on there. Register if you're not already (it fast and free and easy and they won't send you junkmail), and go ahead and vote to keep us on there, cause we'd love to stay. You're welcome to vote against all the other videos if you'd like... it'd help us out, though there's some good bands up htere with us. Not like they need the help though.
We'd also appreciate if you'd let all your friends know about this on Friendster or Myspace or Livejournal or any other messageboard thing you belong to!
Thanks for all your support! Couldn't have done it without you.
Sunday, February 6 2005 @ 2:04PM:
A quick congratulations is due to our very talented bass player, Mark Legaspi, who recently was made a finalist in the 10-10-10 Film Festival in Santa Barbara. Out of over a hundred applicants 10 were chosen to make a 10 minute (or under) film in 10 days. Last week while we were playing shows Mark was also hard at work making this film with co-producer/director Brandon Fink. Long story short- last night Mark and Brandon won the damn thing, so congratulations Mark! The film will be shown tonight at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. I don't know what theater, or time, or anything, and it's probably all sold out anyway, but I thought you should know. We'll have the press releases soon. Also, Happy Birthday to me.
Wednesday, January 26 2005 @ 8:18PM:
Shows this weekend in LA, SD and Ventura!
Friday - Los Angeles, CA @ Vertigo's (801 West Temple, seconds from the 101)
Saturday - San Diego, CA @ The Casbah
Sunday - Ventura, CA @ Livery Theater
more details on the shows page.
... the show in Santa Barbara with The Blood Arm and EUC last night was radical. Thanks to everyone who came out for our first show of the year that actually happened.
YAY 2005!!!!!!!! Ok, so "next week" obviously meant more like 2 months, but we had some minor things to fix up still with the video, and well, it ended up taking a lot longer than expected. Good news is that's all over, and the video is done. Forever. Go to our MEDIA > VIDEO page to get the music video for So Stay in Love, directed by Jeycob Carlson. Here's some screenshots:
Other news...
- a new website should be up in the next couple weeks, with a lot of cool new features, and lots of pictures that we've neglected to post.
- we've got a lot of shows in January in the southern parts of California, go to the shows page for more info on those.
- we're doing a split 7" with our friend The Show is The Rainbow from Lincoln Nebraska. more details on that someday.
- the music video for Rooms by the Hour is halfway there. it looks amazing so far, but there's lots to be done... we're hoping for a February/March release on that... and we'll be snappier about getting it online.
- expect some touring come march... i'm going to be secretive about where it will be for now. i don't know why.
- european tour before the end of the year.
- more videos, more recording, more touring, more everything in 2005. wooooo.
Monday, November 8 2004 @ 12:33PM:
The video for "So Stay in Love" is all done! The very talented Jeycob Carlson directed this one and we finally have it in our hands and it's insanely cool looking. If you live in Santa Barbara you're in luck and can see it this Friday at Isla Vista Theater. It will be playing before both showings of Rock n Roll High School. We'll get it up online sometime next week and we'll hopefully get it on television before too long too. We're also going to have a big premier party for it at Cinespace in January.
The video for "Rooms by the Hour" is getting underway this weekend and it sure sounds like this one will also be blowing minds.
The 12" 180 gram LP version of Pleasure of Resistance is now available for purchase in many record stores and online at the Loud and Clear Records website. This Loud and Clear release features an exclusive 7 minute remix of So Stay in Love that you won't be able to find anywhere else.
We're planning a trip up the west coast in the middle of December and should have those dates for you soon. Our plans are still a bit up in the air for January/February of next year, but if we're not out on the road all over the US again, we'll be working out the new songs here at home and playing around California and some other western states.
Europe is still being talked of for next year, probably not until summer or fall, but we'll let you know more on that when we know more on that.
We now have a Myspace account if you're into the internet, which you obviously are. Click here if you'd like to check that out and become one of our many virtual friends.
More news and photos and video soon!
Wednesday, September 15 2004 @ 11:18AM:
We're home! With loads of pictures and news. The pictures will have to wait until we find some space to put them up, but on with the news... after a couple thanks.
THANKS TO: Foma in general and all the individual Fomas, The Show is the Rainbow, Blue Sky Mile, Lizzie and Yuri (who are evacuating New Orleans as we speak because of that bastard Ivan...), Adam Turner, Huffman and everyone in Pittsburgh, Drew 1, Drew 2, Drew 3, everyone in Reno, all the bands we played with, people who helped set up shows, My family, Dan's family in Austin, Mark's family in Irving, Eugene's friends in Boston, Mike Cancel, Ariel, all our old friends we ran into across the country and a ton of other people I'm forgetting about right now.
NOW... the news: The video for "So Stay in Love" should be in our hands any day now. If you haven't heard the song yet, go to Slowdance.com where you can not only hear "so Stay in Love," but also "Rooms by the Hour," another track from our new album "Pleasure of Resistance." While you're there you can purchase the album and talk about it on the Slowdance message board. Or you can go out into the real world and find the cd at just about any record store and talk in person to real people about it (message boards are just filled with robots i think). We fully support both methods though. The vinyl version of "Pleasure of Resistance" has arrived at Loud and Clear Records and hopefully we'll have some to sell you at our Velvet Jones show next Wednesday in Santa Barbara. The vinyl is the same as the cd, except it's 12" large, made out of 180g black vinyl, and it features an exclusive dance remix. It should also be available for purchase online at Loud and Clear and Slowdance very shortly, and in the hands of some fine record stores within a few weeks.
THEN... there's the plans for the future: We're working on some new songs, setting up some fun west coast shows for the fall, working on the next video, repairing and replacing equipment, getting the van ready for our next trip out east in early 2005, equiping it for water travel so we can traverse the Atlantic ocean into Europe sometime next year and we'll probably do some more recording at some point too. I'm sure I'm leaving something out, but if you go join the mailing list (email mailinglist@kissingtigers.com with your name and email address) we'll make sure to keep you uptodate on all the latest happenings.
Thanks for your support. Go buy the new record if you haven't yet. And request it on your college radio stations. It's totally fucking awesome.
Wednesday, September 1 2004 @ 9:00PM:
We're finishing up the US tour, so check the shows page to see if we haven't come to your town now. Also, go check out Slowdance.com to order the new album and some new t-shirts online. You can also pick up the new album at most stores around the country and or at any of our shows. More news once we get back from tour, and we'll let you know how to get ahold of the 12" LP!
Wednesday, August 4 2004 @ 1:39PM:
The shooting of our video for So Stay in Love is done, and we expect the final edit to be complete in a month or so.
Our new album will be availabe for presale at slowdance.com in just a few days. They'll ship it to you as soon as you order it, so you can get your hands on it before it's officially released in stores on August 17th.
That's all for now. Come to a show!
Friday, July 23 2004 @ 2:26PM:

Wednesday, July 14 2004 @ 1:08AM:

If you live in Santa Barbara tune into KJEE 92.9 at 8AM this morning... 7 hours from now to hear an interview with us and to hear some tracks from the new record. Real news update coming soon...
Friday, June 11 2004 @ 1:28AM:

Out August 17th, 2004 on Slowdance Records, LP out the same date on Loud and Clear Records. That's the news dudes. There's the tracklisting, the cover art, a new mp3, and the great news that our new album will not only be released as a good looking and sounding CD, but also a great looking and sounding 12" vinyl LP. Also on the LP version will be an exclusive dance remix of So Stay in Love.
MORE... you want more news??? you greedy bastard. well here it is. We are leaving on the maiden voyage of our new (to us) van for a week of touring on Monday with our good friends Pink Handgrenade. We will have the Slowdance Sampler with us which includes unreleased songs by us, the Velvet Teen, the Roots of Orchis, the New Trust, Rescue and more. It's free with all purchases or $1 by itself, so come get it while we have it. Dan is turning 21 in 4 days, which means he doesn't have to wear that fake mustache anymore when we play at bars. I hear you should wear yours at the afterparty in Albuquerque next Tuesday though. After this tour we are playing shows in California in July and then in August we leave for a trip around the country. I've started posting some dates, and every day or two I put some new ones up, so keep checking that out if you feel left out and maybe I'll help you out. More soon... and always.
Friday, May 14 2004 @ 9:35PM:
Here's the big news... Pleasure of Resistance is done. We really like it and think you will too. It's 10 tracks that you'll never forget. It will be out in stores everywhere on August 17th, 2004. We'll put up an mp3 soon, but for now you can hear one of the new tracks October 17th, 1989 on 2004: Year of the Pug, the new Slowdance Sampler available here. We'll also have these incredible samplers available at our shows of which there's a few in June... in fact, we have a tour in June! with our good friends Pink Handgrenade. Go to the shows page for more on that and if you happen to live in the state of Arizona, please email us and help us with a show for June 14th, day one of our short journey. If you live somewhere else in this large country, don't worry... we'll most likely be out your way in August and September when we go out on a much larger tour. We'll have dates up for that soon. The music video for our new song So Stay in Love is taking shape and will hopefully be ready in early fall of this year. Take care and see you this summer.
Thursday, April 8 2004 @ 11:30PM:
We're done! Well almost. Pleasure of Resistance, our debut full length is nearly complete. We still have to mix and master the CD this month, but it sounds great already. In May the CD will be all done, and after it gets all pressed up and promoted a little bit it will be out in early August through our lovely label, Slowdance Records. Slowdance is putting out a sampler later this month which will feature 3 Kissing Tigers songs (two that you've never heard before), along with songs by The Velvet Teen, The New Trust, Rescue, Oma Yang, Roots of Orchis, The 1989 Chicago Cubs and more. This month we still have a couple really rad shows including Gilman St. this weekend. We're doing another week tour in June with our friends Pink Handgrenade and a full US tour later this summer. We'll have dates for both tours up as soon as we get them all figured out. Our shows with our friends Polar Bears this past weekend were awesome as usual, and it was great to play Santa Barbara again. Thanks to everyone for coming out and dancing. We'll be playing a free show next Friday night at the "Marley House" in Isla Vista, so don't put those dancing shoes away just yet. That's it for now. More soon.
Monday, February 23 2004 @ 12:28PM:
Just thought I'd check in and let everyone know what's happening these days. We are well underway with the recording of our debut full length, due out this summer on Slowdance Records. The songs are sounding great. Once the recording is done and everything is mixed and mastered we'll get a new mp3 or two up for you to listen to. Also, we've recorded a song titled "Sex Pt. 2" for a compilation that will be out later this spring I believe. I'll have more details on that when I get them. There's some other great bands on the compilation and you should be hearing a lot about it very soon. This song we recorded is an electronic demo version of the song titled "So Stay in Love (Sex Pt. 2)" off our upcoming full length. Seeing we recorded "Sex Pt. 2" ourselves, we didn't dabble in the art of recording real drums and instead have recorded electronic drums for this song (or as Dan would say, "we've recorded the devil"). You'll like it if you like the devil, which I imagine you do. The other exciting news we have for you pertains to our upcoming video that we'll be shooting. Our new friend Jeycob Carlson will be directing this music video extravaganza and we're sure you will see it all over tv in no time. Lastly, look for April to be a fun month of shows, with multiple dates up and down California with our friends Blue Sky Mile and Polar Bears. After that, we'll play more shows and come August we'll be getting out of California and into your "non-California" part of the country again. We're excited.
Tuesday, December 23 2003 @ 3:46PM:
Happy Holidays everyone. We just finished a little northwest mini-tour with our friends Blue Sky Mile from Seattle, WA. They were incredible and we had a blast at all of the shows. Those were our last shows for the year and for quite a while. The one exception is our show in Santa Barbara on January 9th with our Slowdance buddies Oma Yang. They're an amazing band and you really oughta come check them out. After our January 9th show, don't expect to see any shows for a few months, as we head into the studio the first weekend of February (on my 22nd birthday) to kick off the recording of our full length album coming out this spring on Slowdance Records. We're very excited about this record, and we think you will be too.
Other exciting things that are happening these day are us recording a music video of some sort... the details of this are still being worked out. but it will happen. sooner than later. and you will see it. Mark just finished working on a short film called Faith Man with some friends and it came out great. And I don't just think so because I'm in it. Email Mark if you'd like to know more about this. Jim has been hard at work recording our old drummer Dave's solo project, Dr. Midnight and that is sounding incredible. Expect more info, and perhaps some samples of this stuff to show up on this website soon. Other things coming to the website are the much anticipated tour photos (any day now, I promise), perhaps some video clips from tour, and a collection of reviews of the Trebuchet EP.
Well we are all home safe and sound for the holidays and are excited to share next year with all of you. We hope you have a good one and that you've enjoyed this year as much as we have.
Sunday, November 23 2003 @ 12:30PM:

Wednesday, November 12 2003 @ 4:56PM:
WE'RE ON THE ROAD AGAIN! Albuquerque, NM and St. George, UT are still on, so come out if you're in the area for these shows. Also, you'll notice a few winter tour dates up on the shows as well. We may be adding a few more to these. Other plans for the next few months include: putting lots of photos and video on the website, making a video and recording the full length album.
Wednesday, November 5 2003 @ 11:18AM:
unfortunately, we're having to cancel most of the shows left on this tour. if you hadn't heard yet, we hit a deer pretty hard the other night and our ride is in the shop... until at least saturday, probably until next tuesday or wednesday. the deer is probably on the side of road somewhere. i won't cancel denton, albuquerque and st. george just yet, but may be forced to soon. we'll be hangin' out in chapel hill, nc for the next few days, so if you happen to be from the area give us an email and maybe you can show us around town... we have no idea how to fill our days out here. we've been hanging out in parks and kinkos for the most part. take care and we'll be back on the road as soon as we can.
Thursday, October 9 2003 @ 2:20AM:
well, we're on the road once again. i'm up in santa rosa with the new trust kids right now and we're heading up to portland tomorrow. make sure to keep on eye on the shows page for more dates in november in the south and southwest to be added throughout this month... and possibly more west coast dates... also, we'll be updating the tour diary whenever we get the chance.
Wednesday, October 1 2003 @ 1:05AM:
GETTING READY FOR TOUR. As many of you may have noticed, many of our US tour dates have been posted on the shows page, and there are still many to come. Some we're just working out the details with, but if you see an opening between shows that you think you can help out with PLEASE let us know by sending me an email at dave@kissingtigers.com because we're getting in the van next Wednesday and after that setting up all these shows will be a bit tougher, since our van is not as internet savy as us. We're really excited to be out on the road once again, and look forward to sleeping as strangers' houses, campgrounds and walmart parking lots once again. Make sure to mark you calendars when we come through your town and tell all your friends and friendsters when the rock is coming to their town. We've also been recording some new demos and will be working these out before and on tour, so look out for some more new songs at these shows that you can most likely expect on our full length, which will happen to you in the first half of next year. Also, our web-genius tells me that the site's going to get a lot cooler sooner... so watch the f out for that s. That's it. I think I deserve to go to sleep now. Take care and we still love you.
Monday, September 8 2003 @ 10:30PM:
a FULL US TOUR is in the planning stages at the moment... this natonwide extravaganza will be happening in the months of October and November and will take us all around the country, so send me an email if you want us to play your town, and especially if you think you can help out with a show or a place for our tired sweaty bodies to sleep. as soon as we have most of the dates confirmed we'll post them here. in other news the CD Release Party was great, and the Jealous Sound shows were a lot of fun. thanks to the Jealous Sound for having us along and thanks to all of you who came out to the shows and said hi and danced. you may have noticed it's now past September 2nd which means the Trebuchet EP is available now from Slowdance Records and a whole lot of fine record stores all over the country. go get that thing now.
Tuesday, August 26 2003 @ 7:18PM:
One week to go until the EP is finally out! If you just can't wait, you can preorder it online from Slowdance Records. If you can wait, you can buy it straight from us at our CD RELEASE PARTY @ The Switch in Santa Barbara. We're playing that with Arlo (Sub Pop) & Get Set Go. You'll also be able to get it later that week in San Francisco or Corona at our shows with The Jealous Sound. Exciting shows you say? Well we've got a few other exciting shows before the CD even comes out... those are this Thursday @ Espresso Metro in Sacramento (11th & K) w/ Deimos and this Friday @ The Starline in Fresno with Seattle's Blue Sky Mile. Go check out the shows page for more info on these venues and these amazing bands. What's that? You want to hear a Kissing Tigers show and you don't live in California? Well you're not completely out of luck. We're doing a live radio show on KUCI 88.9FM in Irvine on Saturday Sept. 6th from 2-4PM (PST) before the Jealous Sound show. Not only can you listen to the show/interview on the radio, but you can listen over the internet from KUCI.org if you like. Trevor and I will bring you a boatload of new pictures and video very very soon, so come back. Also, email me if you'd like to join the email list. Take care. Late.
Wednesday, August 20 2003 @ 2:28PM:
HOLY VIRUS FEST. I'm getting about 12 emails an hour from people infected with that new SOBIG virus (or whatever the hell it's called) that's all over the news. Just for anyone visiting, please go here and clean house. Tell your friends!
In Kissing Tigers news, the boys will be out and about again on the 22nd. They'll be stopping by my hometown soon enough, and we'll get you some hot new pictures that you can wet yourself over.
Thursday, August 7 2003 @ 2:58AM:
Hey! Just wanted to thanks to everyone who's been helping us along the way the last few years, including Trevor, who just made this amazing new website for us. We're leaving tomorrow morning for tour and are really excited to play to some new faces. We started tonight here in Goleta and had a blast with The Afflictions from Chicago and our touring buds Pink Handgrenade from San Diego. Be sure to check out the tour diary every day or so if you're interested. We'll be posting updates, stories and pictures from the tour as we're on it. Go check out the tour dates and come to a show if you can. Take care and see you out there!
Wednesday, August 6 2003 @ 11:37PM:
Oh man! When we said new site on August 6th, we meant it! Man, a half hour to spare. And I know sooooooo many of you were waiting for the new page. God bless sarcasm... Anyway, the page is mostly functional for now; pictures and all that other good stuff are coming soon. So take a look around, and if anything is out of the ordinary, report that shit to me. Rock and peace out.
